Visions, 2020-2021
Do you sometimes have a feeling that you are seeing something familiar for the first time? Do you experience a sense of familiarity with an image you have never seen before? When you look at a picture, do you have an impression that you can also feel it, as if it is touching your skin? How can you, just by looking at it, smell it, feel the warmth of light rays, the sense of presence or absence? Visions is the answer to these questions.
Balancing on the edge of dream and reality, the photographs are portraying situations that have an open beginning, middle and end. They are an invitation for the viewer to explore and interpret them in any way they wish, filtering them through their imagination, memories, associations and emotions.
