Peripheries, 2021
Sopot as a city located on the coast of Baltic Sea is usually associated with its beach and tourism connected to the coastal recreation. In contrast to these elements, the artist focuses on the forrest surrounding the Eastern side of the city’s peripheries as well as the wetland areas that stretch along the densely forested coastline. The force of the native nature inspired the artist to create a photographic series that has a very hyperrealistic look and creates an illusion of computer-generated imagery.
